About Stacey's House
At Stacey's Childminding, we are committed to creating a nurturing, home-from-home environment where your child can learn, grow, and explore. Our dedicated team, including myself (Stacey) and my two assistants, Justin and Kerry, work together to provide personalised care and education for up to 6 children under the age of 5.
Our Approach
We follow the department of Education’s Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, guiding children from birth to age 5 through a rich and engaging learning journey. Our inclusive setting fosters a sense of belonging and encourages curiosity, ensuring that every child feels safe and supported as they discover the world around them.
Outdoor Learning:
We believe that outdoor play is a vital extension of the learning process. Whether it's exploring playgrounds, visiting farms, walking by the river to see swans and ducks, or embarking on forestry adventures, and trips to the Toy museum, our days are filled with exciting outdoor experiences that stimulate your child's senses and imagination.
A Love for Reading:
At Stacey's Childminding, we also promote a deep love for reading. Through story time and interactive reading activities, children not only learn about different aspects of the world but also develop essential language and communication skills.
